We are more than just an engineering consultancy – we're a close-knit group of professionals on a mission to revolutionise the built environment. If you're looking to join a small yet dynamic team that values collaboration, independent thinking, and a passion for a more sustainable future, you're in the right place.
OUR STRUCTURE
Our structure can be broadly divided into the following areas:
TECHNICAL ASSET MANAGEMENT
This team of consultants have responsibility for a number of individual buildings and need to build good working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders including investment, asset, property, and facilities managers as well as contractors on the ground.
Members also have extensive and detailed technical knowledge of building services engineering.
PROJECTS
This team is responsible for implementing proposed works in a building. This includes delivering full engineering design and project management services for Category A, A+ and B fit outs.
Skills include designing MEP services and providing drawings using CAD and BIM modelling formats, monitoring and coordinating health and safety, and extensive knowledge of building services engineering.
SUPPORT TEAM
Our technical teams are supported by a range of staff who provide vital services to the business. Led by our Operations + HR Manager, these include accounting and legal services, marketing and general administration.

In December 2023, we became Gold accredited members of Investors in People. Accreditation lasts for three years and involves a process of continuous improvement, specifically in areas around employee engagement, communication, organisational culture and work practices. The process offers insight into how we lead, support and nurture our team and culture.
We are so proud to have been rated gold in our reassessment – testament to our wonderful culture and the people who contribute to it.

OUR BENEFITS
Why we think Resero is a great place to work.
NURTURING YOUR CAREER
All our staff have clear Professional Development Plans, which are self-guided but supported by line managers. We regularly employ graduates and apprentices and train them up in-house, opting for internal promotions wherever possible. We also offer generous financial support for professional membership applications, further education, and other training, whatever stage you are in your career.
“At least once every 2 months we have a detailed review for my role which I find beneficial.”
“We have an annual appraisal when we agree set objectives and agree a Personal Development Plan.”
SMALL TEAM, BIG AMBITIONS
Our size isn't a limitation; it's our strength. As a small team, we value each member's contribution and foster a family culture that extends beyond the workplace. We take an agile approach –everyone in the team has the opportunity to develop new service lines and skills, improve processes, and ultimately contribute to our vision of a built environment fit for the future.
EVERYONE HAS A VOICE
As a small team, you won't get lost in the crowd. All our staff are afforded a high level of independent decision-making over their work, and the opportunity to contribute to major business decisions. Whether it's about our recent rebrand, or to discuss new business strategy, everyone has the opportunity to voice their opinion and ask questions.
REMOTE OR IN PERSON – IT'S UP TO YOU
While we're based in Shrewsbury, our team live all over the country – from Sussex to Manchester. We don’t set rules on when people need to be in the office – some people come in every day and others check in now and then. Many of our team do undertake regular UK travel for site visits or client meetings, but we facilitate flexible working by investing in high quality technology to ensure everyone feels connected.
A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
If you do choose to come into the office, you'll be met by a bright and welcoming place to work. Located just on the River Severn in close walking distance to the train station and Shrewsbury town centre, we have a main office, break out rooms if you need some quiet, a well stocked kitchen, and a ping pong table.
SUPPORTING PHYSICAL + MENTAL HEALTH
We have generous allowances for annual leave (25 days + bank holidays) to support work-life balance, and take the mental and physical of our team very seriously. All post-probation staff are entitled to generous private healthcare, while we also have a comprehensive wellness policy and a fully trained, mental health first-aider.
TIME OFF FOR VOLUNTEERING
We encourage all our staff to contribute to our social impact and experience the benefits of volunteering. We offer 12 days of paid leave each year for volunteering. You can use this however you like: in the past, our team have offered their expertise to the National Trust, helped restock our local food bank, and worked on conserving our natural habitat.
“Work life balance arrangements are really great here. The Company is very flexible in terms of how we make use of our time.”
“There’s a really great working culture here and we work together as a whole team.”
